Discounted rates for HUCTW members


For three years, HUCTW members were able to participate in a pilot program using the ConnectEdu platform for college advising. While this pilot is over, existing users may continue to use the platform until the student graduates from high school. Both members with existing ConnectEdu accounts and those without may choose to engage the educational consulting services of Educational Edge at a significantly discounted rate. This includes use of the ConnectEdu platform and personal support at various levels.

The following discounted rates are available to HUCTW members. Please e-mail Dr. Hagerman at p.hagerman@comcast.net for further information about these levels of support.

Level 1 -- $500
  • Full access to the ConnectEdu platform;
  • Monitoring of progress utilizing text boxes to provide feedback on the completion of the college application tasks;
  • One review of the initial list of schools.

Level 2 -- $1,500
  • Includes all of Level 1;
  • Closer monitoring of the college application tasks;
  • One critical review of the personal statement;
  • Up to 10 e-mails outside the platform proving further encouragement to stay on track and to answer specific questions about the college process.

Level 3 -- $3,500
  • Includes all of Level 1 and Level 2;
  • Two personal face-to-face meetings;
  • Up to four telephone meetings;
  • Comprehensive essage critique to include an initial brainstorming of topics, feedback, and advice on effectiveness;
  • Full review of supplemental essays and a résumé.
