Additionally, the Childcare Fellowship helps parents with the increasing cost of childcare during a parentís work hours. It subsidizes childcare in different forms: daycare, in-home care, after-school programs, vacation and summer camps, and public kindergarten (not private). However, please note that if you elect to receive your award through an FSA, kindergarten (public or private) is not an eligible expense. Kindergarten is only an eligible expense if you receive your award directly through the HUCTW office.
The Academic Enrichment Fellowship assists with the cost of academic enrichment such as SAT/ACT test prep classes, academic tutoring, an academically-based school program, academically-based extra-curricular activity, academically-based summer camp or vacation camp, college prep classes, exam fees, or college application fees.
HUCTW members with children ages 0 up to 13th birthday may apply for the Childcare Fellowship.
